I began my
art career in 1986 as an editorial illustrator for the Seattle Weekly. Most of the pieces then were
on 4" x 5" scratchboard with a few exceptions and most all
were done in black and white. My work was popular because of my ability to
graphically translate the whimsical and sometimes macabre short stories and
articles that were assigned I currently create floral and landscape pieces as a tribute to the beautiful gardens and surroundings here in the Bay Area and in Northern California. There is never a lack of material from which to choose as each season presents something new and inspirational. |
